La Signalétique des souvenirs, réalisée avec Manon Thedrez, est née grâce aux rencontres des habitants du quartier Port Du Rhin. Le « droit à la ville » permet aux habitants de penser la vie de quartier, de s’approprier l’espace urbain. La parole des habitants est ici valorisée par la création d’une signalétique propre aux souvenirs. La Cité-Rouge de A à Z valorise cet ensemble d’habitations, à l’occasion de ses 100 ans et de sa récente réhabilitation, par une édition participative. L’objectif est de coupler une production graphique et une transmission sur l’histoire ancienne et récente de cette architecture, pour permettre aux habitants de prendre conscience du patrimoine de la Cité-Rouge.

La Signalétique des souvenirs, created with Manon Thedrez, was born of encounters with residents of the Port Du Rhin district. The “right to the city” enables residents to think about neighborhood life, to take ownership of urban space. In this case, the residents’ voice is enhanced by the creation of signage specific to their memories. La Cité-Rouge de A à Z celebrates its 100th anniversary and recent renovation with a participatory edition. The aim is to combine graphic production with information about the architecture’s past and recent history, to raise awareness of the Cité-Rouge’s heritage among local residents.
