FR Migration, fracture, fragmentation, isolement, relation, éclectisme, hybridité, accumulation, répétition, réseau, rhizome sont autant de maux-mots, qui touchent les populations caribéennes. Ainsi, mes créations s’en imprègnent pour tout à la fois resituer, métamorphoser et faire perdurer l’art et l’esprit du bijoutier créole, contribuant à l’affirmation plurielle et individuelle, particulière et collective d’un mode de vie et de pensée qui gagnerait être étudié plus avant.
EN Migration, fracture, fragmentation, isolation, relationship, eclecticism, hybridity, accumulation, repetition, network, rhizome are all words of woe, which affect all Caribbean populations. My creations are imbued with them, seeking to re-situate, transform and, perpetuate the art and spirit of the creole jeweller and contribute to the plural and individual assertion of a personal and collective way of life which I think would gain through further study.
